I cannot locate where the cord is linked in the vacuum. I have removed the back and cant figure out how to get by the motor to transform it. I recognize there are only three wires, but I cant figure out to get to them. The dogs chewed my cord over and above belief and it wants replaced.

what happened to it? its only 3 wires, so its not that difficult. If the prong portion broke, they sell replacements at homedepot
