there are 6 screws
2 at the front of the bottom plate
two at the rear of the hood
2 underneath the hood on the agitator cover

if the belt has a fifty percent twist on it to the motor you may well have twisted it the wrong way triggering the brush roller to run backwards. see which way the roller is spinning.
hint: it should spin like a automobile tire rolls ahead.

I do. If someone has left bobby pins laying about, or beads, earrings, ect, I just suck em up. Haha. Simply because it really is their obligation to clean up their crap, and if they don’t ahead of I vaccum, sucks for them and they lost it.
